Limericks

This Week room 7 is learning about limericks and limericks are like a poem. 

Immersion Assembly Writing

Have you ever came to school hearing loud music coming out of your school hall ?

Well today when i arrived at school i heard loud music coming out of our school hall,  I went to check it out. And it was my teachers singing it a band. But it was only for our immersion assembly.

Once we got to the immersion assembly and it was about musical madness.When  i saw every single teacher dressed up.They looked funky all the teachers had an roll to act and once every team done and show.  I really liked team 3 they did a musical with all of there different kinds of music.

Team 4’s topic is about making your own music and how it makes things more fun. We watched a movie about pt england music , Like a remake of apple music. First of all they were in a vehicle, they were listening to funky tunes. And  at the end of the movie  Mr Jacobson played the milkshake song it was very funny.

I hope we get to learn how to play instruments but But I really want to make our own music.

Also I would like to listen to some music in class. I think it would be really fun to create and share instruments that we made. Also it would be fun if we got to learn the different music notes and how to read them.

What i think about the term overall is that it is going to be a great term for team 4 and it’s a very good choice. And i think it’s going be a great term i'm really looking ford to mixing school and music together

Cross Country

Today is cross country day and we had finished eating our morning tea and now we are heading over to the cross country race. The first race is the year 1. After that it was time for the year 2  race. Then went to the year 3 and 4.

Then i had butterflies in my tummy because it was time for the year 5.

So we stood up and went to the start line. I heard my nana and my mum cheering for me the i felt the  butterflies in my tummy go away. I saw my little cousin to bye my nana and i waved.

Then i heard Mr burt say on your marks get set and then he blew the horn and he said go. And the I ran all the way to the muddy puddles and it was nearly 60 centimeters deep. But i still ran through it  finely we got to the farm and we had a little break. Then i took a big breath a ran again.

Finally we got to the finish line i crossed it. And then i went to the water station . Got me a big cup of water. Then i saw my mum wave. I ran to see her and she and my nana  gave me a goldcoin for finishing the race. But my uniform got really muddy but my mum said that alright.
