Bringing back extinct species is not worth a while .

Introduction

Have you ever wondered why would scientists bring back extinct species? Well, I have no idea! I especially think that de-extinction isn’t a good idea at all! Why? Well, let me spill some tea on why de-extinction isn’t a good idea! 

Environment

Food and environment have changed over time and those times food and environment have changed so have the extinct species. All extinct species food and environment might have changed over time, so they have to be able to get uses to their new surroundings and food. ( Then add more about the environment that you know about. )

Health

If scientists start to bring back extinct species, The life of the now living species could be at risk. Because the world has changed so reintroducing extinct animals that have been long gone, Could put modern habitats and food sources.

Conclusion

I think that it would be cool if they could bring back extinct species, but at the same time, I don't think it would be a good idea for this modern. So I don't think this is worth a while plus its a lot of money just to bring back species that could just be extinct again.

Smart Relationships

Immersion Assembly - Term 3

Immersion Assembly - Term 3

Today is the  first day of term 3, we had our Immersion assembly . Our Theme for this term is "Something in the water- He Mea Te Roto I Te Wai.  

 Today's Immersion assembly was a little different from some other Immersion Assembly that we had. We got to look at Mr.Burt, Mrs.Tele'a, Mr. Samerville and Ms. Va'afusuaga cook Prawns, Muscles, shrimps and Fish. Also Instead of the prefects giving out stickers, they were giving out Pieces of the food being cooked  on a toothpick.

Our school is divided up into teams  1 to 5 each team teachers have to come up with an Item or a Movie to show something the school what they are going to be learning about .  I was excited to watch and see what the other teams are going to learn about . 

My favorite one was Team 4's.  I liked it because it was very interesting and  funny at the same time. My favorite part is when the teachers went into the freezing cold water . I also like when they were telling us about a plankton it might sound weird but it was funny to me because before i came to school i was watching sponge bob and in sponge bob there is a plankton .  And That was basically it goodbye . 

Guinness World Record

Have you ever tried to break a Guinness World Record ? Well i have .. 

Me and my friends attempted to break a Guinness World Record .. the record we tried to break was Eating M&Ms with Chopsticks BlindFolded it might sound easy but its really hard . 

I was in a group with Delijah (myself) , Leilani , Pisirina and Eden . there were different choices of records we could try to break but we choose Eating M&Ms with Chopsticks BlindFolded, Our teacher Ms Tapuke provided the things we needed to complete this challenge . 

The Things We Needed To Complete This Challenge : 

• M&Ms 
• Chopsticks 
• Blindfolds 
• Our Group 

Before we attempted to try break the record we needed to practice , the person who broke the record ate 20 M&Ms  with Chopsticks BlindFolded so we practiced without a blindfold, it was really hard without a blindfold, then we put a blindfold and it was quite easy with a blindfold .

The first person in our group to try attempt eat M&Ms Blindfolded with chopsticks was Eden we gave eden 21 m&ms to eat and she only ate 4 but that was okay , Next up was Leilani she didn’t really try but she got 1 , Pisirina got 6 and on my first try i got 12 , my 2nd was 11 and my 3rd was 10 we didn’t break the record but it was worth a try ..
